Liability Release Waiver

Please read the following information before participating in a VR ride or experience.

Do NOT participate if you have any of the following conditions:

In consideration for being allowed to use the virtual reality equipment and facilities at VRcade, the undersigned hereby acknowledges and agrees to the following terms:

1. Assumption of Risk:
I/We understand that participating in virtual reality activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falling, accidentally bumping into or tripping on other players or barricades/walls, and other potential physical and psychological effects. I voluntarily assume all such risks.

2. Health and Safety:
I/We certify that I/we are in good physical health and do not have any medical conditions that would prevent me from safely participating in virtual reality activities. I/We agree to abide by the following safety guidelines and instructions provided by VRcade.
Do NOT participate if you have any of the following physical conditions:
i. Under six years old
ii. Heart conditions
iii. Pregnant
iv. Photosensitive epilepsy
v. Flu symptoms
vi. Recent surgeries
vii. Under 48 inches tall (only if riding the Roto Loco)
viii. Over 325 pounds (only if riding the Roto Loco)

3. Equipment Use:
I/We agree to use the virtual reality equipment and facilities responsibly and in accordance with the provided instructions. I/We understand that any misuse or failure to adhere to the following safety guidelines may result in injury or damage.
Please adhere to the following safety guidelines when participating in the VR games:
i. No running or jumping.
ii. Remember that nothing is real and you can’t lean on or brace against anything.
iii. Maintain a minimum distance of one foot from each player.
iv. Do not take off your headset. Inform the operator if your headset is uncomfortable or if you need to remove your headset and they will assist you.
v. Do not punch or kick at other players.
vi. Do not shake in your seat on the Roto Loco.
vii. Keep your legs behind the leg restraint on the Roto Loco
viii. Let the operator know if you want to stop the ride on the Roto Loco.
ix. If your hair goes below your waist and you’re riding the Roto Loco, use a hair tie and/or put it inside your shirt (hair ties are available).

4. Waiver of Liability:
I/We hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue New World Rides LLC, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action related to any loss, damage, or injury that may occur during or as a result of my participation in virtual reality activities.

5. Indemnification:
I/We agree to indemnify and hold harmless New World Rides LLC against any claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from my use of virtual reality equipment and facilities.

6. Photography and Recording:
I/We consent to the use of photographs or recordings taken during my participation in virtual reality activities for promotional and marketing purposes by New World Rides LLC.

7. Parental or Guardian Consent:
If the participant is a minor (under the age of 18), the undersigned parent or legal guardian acknowledges and agrees to all terms on behalf of the minor. The parent or legal guardian's signature below covers their own participation as well as that of each minor child listed.

I have read this Liability Release Waiver and fully understand its terms. I/We voluntarily agree to its content and acknowledge that my/our participation is at my/our own risk.
